Day 15 - Favorite female character - Ziva David, NCIS

So, this should come as a surprise to no-one. Ziva David is possibly my favourite fictional character, ever. I fell in love with her in the closing scene of Kill Ari (2), and my love has only grown exponentially ever since. She is a super ninja warrior, and she is intense and serious and damaged. She was raised to be the perfect weapon, and somehow managed to become a real person instead. She can be brittle, hostile, violent, sharp and angry, and she can be compassionate, kind, empathetic, brave and sweet.

She has transitioned from a hard, ruthless assassin to an investigator who is no longer afraid to show emotion and to trust people, because of her time at NCIS and the people that she has learnt to love there. And watching her turn away from her father and Mossad for good and become a full NCIS agent has been one of the highlights of my tv-viewing year.

In short, I love everything about Ziva David.
